Sharing Your Profile with Employers
What the candidate-visibility toggle does, what employers can see, and how to turn it off.
Updated: 7/9/2026
Xeito lets you choose whether employers looking for candidates can see your profile. This is off by default — nothing about you is shared with employers unless you turn it on.
Where to find it
The toggle lives in Settings → Privacy, under the question “Would you like to share your profile with employers looking for candidates?”
What’s shared when the toggle is on
When you switch this on, employers searching for candidates can see:
- Your tech stack and years of experience with each technology
- Your soft skills
- Your job title and general location (city/country — never your exact address)
- Your desired job type and remote preference
What’s never shared
Regardless of this setting, Xeito never shares:
- Your name or contact details (email, phone)
- Your exact address
- Your saved jobs, application history, or Job Tracker data
- Your resume file itself — only the structured profile fields listed above
Turning it off
Flip the toggle back to off at any time. Your profile stops being discoverable by employers immediately — this does not delete any data, it only controls whether employers can find you.
