// About these numbers

Salary ranges are derived from remote job postings indexed by Xeito in Q1 2026. They represent gross annual compensation — before income tax and social contributions, which vary significantly by country.

All roles on this calculator are fully remote. Xeito only indexes remote positions — no hybrid, no on-site. Salaries for office-based roles in the same countries typically run 10–20% lower for equivalent seniority.

The Poland–Germany gap for equivalent senior roles (roughly 2:1) reflects both purchasing-power differences and the fact that many EU remote employers still apply location-adjusted pay. That gap has been narrowing at roughly 3–4% per year as remote-first hiring becomes more common.
