The Xeito browser extension adds a one-click save button to job listings on LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and 130+ other job boards. You never need to leave the page. Available for Chrome (and Chromium-based browsers like Brave, Edge, Arc) and Firefox.

Installing the Extension

Chrome / Brave / Edge / Arc

Open the Chrome Web Store listing in your browser.
Click Add to Chrome (or “Add to Brave / Add to Edge” — same flow).
Confirm by clicking Add extension in the popup.
The Xeito icon appears in your browser toolbar.

Firefox

Open the Mozilla Add-ons listing in Firefox.
Click Add to Firefox.
Confirm by clicking Add in the popup.
The Xeito icon appears in your browser toolbar.

Same source code, same features in both browsers — the difference is which store handles updates.

Signing In

The first time you click the Xeito icon, you’ll be prompted to sign in with your Xeito account. This links saved jobs directly to your tracker.

Saving a Job

When you’re on a supported job listing page, you’ll see a Save to Xeito button added to the page. Click it to:

Capture the job title, company, location, and description automatically.
Add it to the Saved column of your Job Tracker.

No copying, no pasting. The extension does the extraction for you.

If your favourite board isn’t on the list, we likely still cover it via JSON-LD JobPosting extraction (used by most ATS-hosted boards like Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Ashby).

Troubleshooting

The Save button isn’t appearing:

Make sure you’re on a job detail page, not a search results page.
Try refreshing the page after installing the extension.
Chrome: check the extension is enabled at chrome://extensions.
Firefox: check the extension is enabled at about:addons.

I’m saving jobs but they’re not appearing in my tracker:

Check that you’re signed in to the same Xeito account in both the extension and the web app.
Try signing out and back in from the extension popup.

The Test Connection button in the extension settings shows “Connection failed”:

Confirm you’re on the latest extension version (3.0.2 or higher). Earlier versions had an incorrect health-check path.
If you installed Firefox via a sideloaded .xpi rather than from the Mozilla Add-ons store, the API may not yet recognise your install — re-install from the Mozilla Add-ons listing instead.
