Profile and Account Settings

Your Xeito profile controls how the platform personalises your experience and which jobs get surfaced for you.

Accessing Settings

Click the SIGN_OUT button in the top navigation to find your profile options, or navigate directly to Settings from your dashboard sidebar.

Profile Information

In the Profile section you can update:

• Display name — how your name appears in the app
• Email address — used for login and notifications
• Password — change your password at any time
• Profile photo — optional, only visible to you

Job Preferences

The Preferences section controls what kinds of jobs Xeito recommends:

• Tech stack — add languages, frameworks, and tools you use
• Experience level — affects which roles appear first
• Desired salary — filters out listings that don’t match your range
• Job type — full-time, part-time, contract, freelance
• Remote preference — fully remote, hybrid, or flexible
• Preferred locations — countries or regions you’re targeting

Keep your preferences up to date — they directly affect search ranking.

Notifications

In Notifications you can enable or disable:

• New matching jobs — daily or weekly digest of jobs that match your profile
• Application reminders — nudges when saved jobs haven’t been actioned
• Product updates — new Xeito features and announcements

Privacy

In Privacy you can:

• Download a copy of all your data (GDPR data export)
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently

Account deletion is irreversible. Your job tracker data, preferences, and history are removed immediately.

Billing and Credits

If you’re on a paid plan, the Billing section shows:

• Your current plan and renewal date
• Credit balance (used for AI-powered features)
• Payment history and invoice downloads
• Option to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel
