How to Use the Job Tracker
Track every application from first look to offer on a visual Kanban board.
Updated: 3/1/2026
The Job Tracker is your application management board. Every job you save lands here, organised into columns that reflect where you are in the process.
Board Columns
| Column | When to use |
|---|---|
| Interested | Jobs you want to apply to — where every application starts |
| Applied | Applications you’ve submitted |
| Interview | You’ve been invited to interview |
| Offer | You’ve received an offer |
| Rejected | Applications that didn’t progress |
Adding Jobs to the Tracker
There are three ways to add jobs:
- From Job Search — click Save on any job card in the Jobs section.
- With the Chrome Extension — click the Xeito button on any supported job board.
- Manually — click the + Add job button on the tracker board and fill in the details.
Moving Cards Between Columns
Drag any job card and drop it into the column that matches your current status. The board updates instantly and syncs across all your devices.
Adding Notes to a Job
Click on any job card to open the detail panel. You can:
- Add personal notes (interview prep, questions to ask, impressions)
- Record the application date and contact name
- Set a follow-up reminder
Filtering and Sorting
Use the filter bar above the board to:
- Show only jobs matching specific technologies
- Filter by company name
- Sort by date saved or last updated
Tips for Staying Organised
- Move cards as soon as your status changes — don’t let the board fall behind.
- Use the notes field to store anything you’d otherwise keep in a separate doc.
- Archive or delete old “Rejected” cards periodically to keep the board clean.
